The blessing of tithing

it is amazing to me how much misunderstanding there is about tithing. Some people can understand and interpret the most intricate details of daily living, but when it comes to paying to the Lord, they pretend not to understand. Paying tithes to God is giving him ten percent (10%) of our financial income. A tithe is a debt owned. It refers to the tenth of our increase that already belongs to God. It is not ours to keep. We pay it as we would any other unpaid debt. In the context of tithing, the inaction of the scripture, the only way man can rob God is by not giving or returning to him the one that is already his.
